A two storey rear extension including the refurbishment of both internal and external areas.
The project required careful planning as the owners remained in residence. The sequence of construction was agreed prior to commencement of works, minimising the level of disruption.
From a design perspective the project combined original period features with contemporary bespoke fittings. Existing Edwardian cornice, skirtings, windows and doors were perfectly matched combined with new Versailles panel wood floors and Italian marble. A classic Farrow and Ball colour scheme helped integrate the balance of old and new.
The exterior finish included York stone to the entrance steps.
